o2/27/12: Today is Monday. The first day of the work week, the beginning of the end some might think, but not me, no, today is a new day to WALK. Walk is the word I have chosen to define 2012. I do not know what all that entitles, but currently, I am walking by being and interim substitute in a first grade classroom.
Teaching is an career I was made for. I love each day, having an idea of what is in store, but constantly being ready to be flexible. I have an extremely diverse classroom. Each student has a special personality with unique qualities and learning styles.
This weekend, I know that it means seeing a new part of my country. On Saturday, I received my acceptance to work in an Urban Ministry in L.A. I am extremely excited, yet nervous. The Lord is bringing me to a place where I am not confident or in my comfort zone, I am excited.
